Unfortunately, one in three projects fails to see the light of day due to funding issues.
According to the latest study (Girard et al. 2023) (1), adventure therapy (AT) offers numerous benefits to young adults with psychosis. It helps reduce stress through contact with nature, strengthens self-confidence through high-intensity activities like canyoning, and helps break social isolation through group living. By combining physical challenges with collective support, AT allows participants to reconnect with themselves, better manage their emotions, and move toward recovery.
