Two non-professional runners will take on a unique challenge: running 3 marathons (42.195 km each) over 3 consecutive days, in shorts, in temperatures ranging from -5 to -30 Celsius. This extreme challenge is not only an inspiring testament to the human capacity to accomplish great things but also a fundraising initiative for a non-profit organization Face aux Vents, dedicated to promoting mental health through nature and adventure intervention projects.
Trained and inspired by techniques and concepts (scientifically supported) by the Quebec Academy of Thermotherapy, the two athletes will push their limits to demonstrate that cold, far from being an obstacle to humans, can become a source of strength and resilience. This science, combining mind and body, proves that cold exposure enhances overall well-being and helps people better face life’s challenges.
